All-new Rafale B/C landing gear set with weighted wheels in 1/48 scale is now in development

ResKit is happy to reveal that an all-new Rafale B/C landing gear set with weighted wheels in 1/48 scale is now in development for the popular Revell and Academy kits. Designed for modelers who want their Rafale to look like a real jet sitting under load, this set combines sharply detailed landing gear legs with subtly flattened, realistically bulged tires.

The new gear captures the busy look of the real aircraft’s structure: torque links, hydraulic lines, actuators, brake detail and attachment points are all rendered using high‑resolution 3D printing for maximum crispness.

Weighted wheels give the finished model a convincing stance, eliminating the “toy-like” look of perfectly round tires and instantly adding visual weight to the aircraft. Together with the intricate nose and main struts, they turn the Rafale’s

landing gear area into a genuine focal point, whether the model is displayed clean or in a fully loaded combat configuration.

This Rafale B/C landing gear and weighted wheel set is currently undergoing test-fitting and refinement and will be released worldwide as part of ResKit’s growing modern jet accessories line.
